FITNESS TRIVIA ANSWER #5

FALSE!

Cardio is aerobic and is fueled by glycogen (sugar) and fat. The odds of you tapping into the fat stores are slim. Now, weight training is anaerobic and is fueled exclusively by glycogen. By doing cardio first, you use most or all of your glycogen. Therefore, the body is forced to break down muscle tissue to make more glycogen so you can complete your training session. Not good!
